Ferries: Transdev to sail in Sydney until 2028

Transdev

Mobilité

Transdev has just obtained the renewal of its agreement to operate and maintain the iconic ferries in Sydney (Australia) until 2028. Worth €815mn, this agreement confirms Transdev's leading position as a multimodal transport operator in Australia.

New agreement means new services: more frequent services, new vessels and experiments on on-demand transport services in the district of the bays of Sydney. This agreement with Sydney Ferries strengthens the relations between Transdev and the Sydney community, where the Group also operates buses and the tramway network, in addition to on-demand pilot transport networks in the Sutherland Shire and in Manly.

Another new addition: Since 21 February, Transdev has been operating an entirely automated EasyMile shuttle on the University of New England campus, regularly serving a 5km line between residential dorms and the main university campus.
