Icade is part of the group* that won the Inventer Bruneseau call for projects organized by the City of Paris and Semapa. Called Nouvel R, this project, which will cover nearly 100,000 m², will create a real link between Paris and Ivry-sur-Seine and the first low-carbon district in France.
The project’s architectural ambition is to create a neighbourhood allowing for seamless urban continuity between Paris and Ivry-sur-Seine and to create the first entirely decarbonated neighbourhood.
The aim is to divide the carbon footprint associated with buildings in 5 and for all buildings to receive E3C2 labels. How?
- through the widescale use of wood flooring;
- by producing local energy at an unforeseen level for an urban project of this scale: 65% of energy consumed in the neighbourhood will be either renewable or recycled, and 50% will be produced on-site.
The accreditation relating to the new E+C- label will be driven by Elioth, which is part of the technical consultancy firm with Egis in particular.
