CDC Investissement Immobilier, on behalf of Caisse des Dépôts, has just made its 2nd acquisition in Germany with the purchase of a 6,200 m² residential building in Munich, following the acquisition of an 8-asset portfolio in Berlin. The objective is to diversify its international investments in residential assets offering stable returns and meeting environmental criteria.
The 6,200 m² building, which includes 75 apartments, is ideally located near Hirschgarten Park in the sought-after Neuhausen-Nymphenburg district and benefits from good connectivity to the city center. Built in 2008, the building offers high-quality amenities and has a strong environmental profile.
This acquisition strengthens CDC Investissement Immobilier's international investment strategy in Germany, a key market due to its size and the stability of its rental market, as well as in residential real estate, which retains an important place within its investment strategy (approximately 30% of the portfolio). It also fits into a sustainable approach, with clear objectives for reducing CO2 emissions.
