Eleven years after its creation, Sfil announces that it has financed more than €50bn in loans to the local public sector, including €45bn to local authorities. Since 2015, Sfil has been the leading financier of the local public sector with its partners La Banque Postale and La Banque des Territoires. An indispensable ally of local authorities, it ensures them financing conditions on long maturities and at a competitive cost.
Sfil has strengthened action to support the local challenges of the ecological transition. Its range of green loans and social loans, respectively launched in 2019 and 2022, now occupy an important and growing place in its portfolio: in 2023, green and social loans to local communities and health loans accounted for 43% of the production.
