The Caisse des Dépôts Group posted an exceptional aggregate net profit of €4.6bn for 2021, compared with €777m in 2020 and €2.5bn in 2019. This result was driven in particular by the economic recovery, the performance of subsidiaries and a good year on the financial markets. This performance will enable Caisse des Dépôts to make a major €2.5bn contribution to the French State budget.
